How does HARU fit?

If you see images of a white-haired woman wearing HARU, it’s me, designer Edie! At 4’-11” tall, with a 34b bust size, 25 ½” waist, 34” hips, and weighing 98 lbs I decided to be the fit model to field-test the prototype coats myself and understand how it wore. Not the standard size fit model I added inches to the sample size making HARU slightly larger/longer for me. I wear HARU size 1. 

HARU has a relaxed fit that feels like the coat drapes over your shoulders. HARU’s drape and two-button design has a vibe and a certain elegance. 

As I wore HARU out in the world I would have people of other body types and heights try her on for size. I learned the proper drape depends on how the shoulders and bust fit and found some wearers preferred a size softly tailored rather than a relaxed drape.

When selecting your size pay close attention to your Shoulder-to-Shoulder and Chest dimensions. * I suggest using a similar garment from your closet to see how HARU could fit you. Lay your garment flat (front-facing)-- buttons buttoned, zips zipped up. Take measurements straight across or top to bottom to its widest or longest point. Compare HARU’s measurements to your garments.
